is it possible to import an ant movie catalog database into progress? if so, how? or simply a program to convert an *.amc file to a *.db file

What's "Progress" ? You can export it to CSV then see if you can import that CSV file in the other program.

progress is a database program, and you can also build applications with an a tool called AppBuilder in progress. i think you can compare it with oracle...
