I'd really like it if there were a feature that allowed us to move all the renamed files to a user-chosen output directory. IrfanView's batch renamer, for example, has the choices of A) Copy files to output directory, B) Move files to output directory, or C) Rename original files {AntRenamer does C}. Something similar would be great.

You can put a complete path for most of the actions (e.g. if you insert a text at the beginning, it can start by "c:\anotherFolder\", same for enumeration and others).
For this, in the options, on the "Processing" page, the option "detect ... absolute path" must be checked.
On the same page, you have an option "copy instead of rename".
