I use this program to change numbered files like "Green Class 001 - Crawling Chaos-001" to "001". There will be 20, 30 or more files in a folder. A couple days ago when i did this, it changed the numbering but the pictures are out of sequence. For instance "Green Class 001 - Crawling Chaos-001" changes to "116" instead of "001". A picture that is at the beginning is now close to the end of the file. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but that did not help. Any idea why this would happen?

The program renames files in the order in which they appear in the "Files" tab.
Maybe you changed the sort order there? Accidentally or on purpose, by clicking on a column header.
In such case a small arrow appears near the sorted column title. If you want them unsorted (and appear in the order in which Windows sends them to the program) you can right-click on the column headers and select "Unsorted".
