Can I open amc file with a standard database editor like access?

I'd like make massive changes to my database.

It's a format made for AMC, it's not a real database.
For mass-changes you can use Scripting, either with the "Update all fields" script or with your own scripts. For basic operations it is quite easy to write such scripts.
