I used to have an excell list and i changed the background of cells to a different colors of unseen movies so when i wanted to see a new movie i could quickly spot which ones i havent.... is there any way to do that on AMC?

If you cant that whould be a nice feature :)

And on statistics is there any way to include directors? example list how many movies of each director i have?

I suggest using one of the existing fields to mark that information. I use the "Media Label" field to indicate the location of the disc in my house. I have so many DVDs that I cannot keep them all in a single place. So I used that field to denote where it is stored. Whenever I do my inventory, it is easy to spot where a particular disc is located.

Rather than add new fields, I propose the ability to change the name/data-types of some of the existing fields.

Resolution, Framerate, Filesizes, and number of disks fields are a good candidate for that.

Thanks again for an application that stands head-and-shoulders above the rest.

That's much difficult to handle than adding few fields, including few "custom" text fields maybe

I use the "Media Type" field to do this.

I put two entries in the window, 'Watched' and 'Not Watched' so now I just check one or the other when I catalog a new one!

(Note to ANTP: It really would be nice to have a few (~5 maybe) user-selectable/definable fields where we could do stuff like this ourselves, without you having to add a 'specific' field every time. Also would be nice to make it user-selectable, so if you didn't want it on the screen, you could turn it off.)
