First, I just wanted to say, "Thank You" for making this wonderful piece of software. It's rare indeed to see such a good piece of software available for free!!

I have 2 things on my wish list for the Ant Movie Catalog, and they are:

One; more (or customizable) movie information fields. For example, Cinematographer or Composer perhaps. Then being able to group by these for reports would be fantastic!!

Two; the ability to sort by actors. I know this would be a rather big job as I have created a movie organizer as well (I gave up on it after trying to change the program to the IMDB's many format changes in the past few years) and having each actor have an entry in an actor table and then a ref table to join back to the movie table was a pain, but it worked.

Anyway, just my wish list. Thanks so much for your time and again for your fantastic program!!

I'll probably add fields for version 4.
Currently the actors are stored like a simple block of text so some work would be needed to have a real actor management. The "problem" is that personnaly I do not need it, and so it is on a quite low priority on my to-do list

Great news!! I'd love to see added fields. I understand about the Actors, that is a lot of work, as I know. For me it was a way to pull up all movies in my collection that starred, say, Bruce Willis, for example.

An addition to my wish list, (I'm a demanding S.O.B., ain't I?) how's about multiple values for existing fields. Meaning most films only have one director, but there are those that have multiple. Most films have multple producers (be it executive, associate, etc), this, I think, would be a nice feature too.

I wish I knew Delphi, I'd be right there lending a hand! Thanks for the ear!

Same than for actors : lots of fields would need a multiple-choices list, like the Categories, etc.
I'll try to improve that in the future but I do not have precise idea yet on how I will do that.
