some suggestions

how does this thing with the patches work? will they be merged into the main tree? especially the user picture stuff i find very intriguing.
anyway, my two cents:
- when save as xml (in my case for some RegExing), it gets exported with pictures as seperate files, but the location of the pictures ist still known. now, if i save it as amc again, the link to the pictures is lost. would be nice to have the choice there wether to import them or keep them as linked pictures
- multiple title scripts: it would be nice to have the ability to have a script work on a list of titles rather than just one.
- a major concept thing is this: it would be nice to be able to have multiple media for one movie. not strictly necessary though, only happens every now and then.
- why is JAPANESE not in the default list of languages?
apart from these things, i find it a very nice and useful piece of software. thanks.
one more thing

- there is no DOP field. which is, well, probably a very bad thing really. mine are always whinig because they never get any attention and are always thought of last. although, really _they_ are the ones that actually produce what we see, so, more kudos to them: let them have their own field!

I do not know yet, but when AMC will support multiple pictures I may add support for re-importing catalogs made by the patched version.
And even if the official version does not support importing these patched catalogs, it is quite easy to write a small external program to make the conversion

I have to add the possibility for storing pictures, but the link should not be "lost" : they should stay linked.
Until the functionnality is added to AMC, you can use the tool "Image import for Ant Movie Catalog" from
http://www.antp.be/software/moviecatalog/download
(the 220 KB one)

Tools -> Scripting
In version 3.5 both scripting windows will be merged (currently it is the same window that has some differences depending if you call if from "Get info -> from script" or from "Tools -> scripting")

Would be nice, yes, but some work has to be done to make this possible. I do not know when I will do it.
Same for multiple movies on same media.

You mean the drop-down list in movie fields ? I think I only added in this list the langages I add a translation for. Since these lists are easy to customize from the Preferences window, I thought it was not a problem.

In version 4 (or maybe in a version 3.6) I will add some "important" new fields like this one. I have to find a way to make this useable on low-res screen even when adding lots of things.

one thing would be to make certain fields collapsable. like description and comments take up a lot of space. if those would have a little "+" / "-" thing? how does that sound?

That's a possibility.
The one that will probably change is the Actor field. And I may do in the same way a "Staff" button that will open other fields like Producer, Director, etc.

What do you think about using tabs, ant? That is an easy solution to group similar fields together. I got the sugestion from a user here, where he pointed XMM as a source of inspiration. I will post some screens of an unfinished version of such interface tomorrow (I don't have Delphi 6 at home, only at work, and I still wasn't able to get it to compile with Delphi 8
).

The tabs is something I did not like in XMM
