Please add the automatic making thumbnails option with set the picture size in Export or Save As...

That's is what I was going to suggest: The possibility to add images to the database captured from the own file. It could be a random frame extraction and you can choose the ones you want, or/and browse through the movie timeline and capture a exact frame.

Excelent program.

Generating smaller files when exporting would not be so difficult (but there are already so many things that I have to add), but image capture from the video that's something else.

If you just want smaller images (thumbnails), there are lots of external programs that can convert the exported images to a smaller size.
