Can be the AMC information exported to the videos "ID&q

Post by nealtobe »

Good evening,

Due to your help, I've been able to organize my movie library with all the information I required, thanks.

But I have a new question... I usually use my DLNA-capable tv to see my movies, and it organized them taking into acount some information like genres, year, actors, directors, etc. I use Serviio as my DLNA media streaming service.

However, I have noticed that much of the info that it retrives (I suppose that is from somewhere in the video file) is not correct. There is any why to export the information I have in my catalog file to the video "id tag, metadata, etc"?

I did something like that using other programs for my mp3 songs.

Thanks in advance.

You should provide an example on how the output file looks.

you can export whatever you like, but how should it look like in the file?

And what is the extention of the file? layout of the info?

Need more input?

I'm hoping I can open this up again. AMC works great for the small amount of time i've used it, but i believe the question here is, can the information held within AMC be written to actual video file.

Say I have an mp4 file with no metadata. i load it into AMC, use the scripts to pull info and populate all fields (title, description, picture, etc.), and at the end I want to write that information into the original file so it's there for other programs to use. is this possible?
