Change Fields in Mass

Anyone know if there is a way to change fields in mass? i.e. If I have 20 movies that I want to make the year 1995. Can I change them all at once?

Hi,

You can select movies where you want to change fields in mass and use 'Update Fields' script: Tools > Scripting... > select 'Update Fields' script and choose 'selection' before run script.
When you run script select 'Remplacer le contenu d'un champs (Replace a field)' > select 'Année (Year)' > press 'Yes' > put your value '1995' > it's done.

I don't know about the complete package with installation, but in the last 4.1.0.2 update (2012-01-08), the complete package without installation does not include your last version of the update fields script but the old dedej one.
Dedej version does not include the year choice in the replace field option. So to have the year choice, cweinhofer will maybe need to download your Update Fields version on your server and also your SoulSnakeUtils.pas file.
Maybe you should include all this in the next package release.

I have forgotten this.
You need to take last version of Update Fields (FR-US).ifs and SoulSnakeUtils.pas here : http://mickaelvanneufville.online.fr/AMCU/scripts/ and copy them in Scripts folder of AMC.

Yes in AMC 4.1.1 [BETA], last versions of Update Fields (FR-US).ifs and SoulSnakeUtils.pas are included
