I'd like to report that filmweb.pl needs an update. It doesn't download YEAR and inserts TRANSLATED instead of ORIGINAL TITLE into db.

IMDB 3.71 Problem: Extra Text when Importing Trivia:

I have IMDB configured to import Trivia #4: Import full trivia to Comments field, after comments.

Starting with verion 3.71, the script is also putting this sting at the end of the trivia:

Example:
IMDB TRIVIA:

IMBD Problem when used with AMC 4.1.0.2

After updating from AMC 3.5.1.2 to AMC 4.1.0.2, the IMBD 3.71 script won't import trivia and awards to Comments or Descritions fields, if both are configured to import to the same field.

I have the IMBD script configured to:
-- Awards #2: Import awards to Comments field, after comments.
-- Trivia #4: Import full trivia to Comments field, after comments.

With this configuration, I only get trivia. Or with awards and trivia both configured to import to Description, after the summary, I only get trivia.

But, if one is imported to Description and one is imported to Comments, then both awards and trivia get imported.

This happens only with AMC 4.x, not with prior AMC versions. I sent a fixed script version that should be available from server later today (3.72) and works for both AMC versions now.

I am using v.4.1.0.2 and it is impossible to get informations about a movie from the site Cinemagia.ro. From IMDB everything works just fine, but unfortunately Cinemagia.ro is the only site with informations in romanian language. Could someone help me with a correction of the script?

P.S. I wrote a message to the creator of the script ( Mihai Tudor ) but he is no more available for this . Is someone else available?

Noone replying to your cinemagia.ro script request doesn't mean this forum is dead, just that noone can help with that script yet. The last version of the script is 6 years old, so I'm not surprised if it doesn't work anymore, as scripts usually need to be updated regularly when the website's code changes (which is quite likely within 6 years). If the original creator of the script isn't available anymore your best bet might be learning some scripting basics and doing bugfixes yourself.

Sorry, but unfortunately there is no manual for scripting available. If you have (or get) some basic knowledge about Pascal or Delphi and some basic understanding of HTML, it is not very hard to learn from looking at a (working) script and comparing to its website's HTML code, to understand what it does.

Don't get me wrong, you don't need to fully learn a programming language or HTML, it's just that you need to understand the basics when looking at a script, so that you get an idea of what a function or procedure does when running the script. From here it's only a little step to begin changing or bugfixing existing scripts and finally derive your own script from another one. You will find help on forums when there are questions on specific things then, still it needs some time and will to learn if you have no idea at all on all this.

I think I could help you if you translate in English / Italian an example of page from cinemagia.ro.
Consider that my spare time is not so much, like your is ... but i could help you...
On the other side, I could report you alternative programs , but they are not "gratis"....
