Director and producer name missing since newyear !

Post by mortenl »

I have used the ANT program for some time now, mostly using the IMDb script.
For some reason the script doesn't any longer pick up the names of the director and the producer of the movie I ask for. This has been the case since the first january this year. Before that time there were no problem of that sort.
Do anybody know the reason for this and has a remedy ?

I did some tests and it works correct for me. Please make sure you use latest script version 3.55 . You can check your current version when you mark the script on the list (so that it's blue) and see the status frame below scripts list.

For update you can simply start script [UPDATE_SCRIPTS] or download manually from http://update.antp.be .

If you still have the problem it might be a specific problem on certain movies, please give an example movie then.

user rating missing now

Post by mortenl »

Some days ago I had a question here ("Director and Producer name missing since newyear") and I got an excellent answer from bad4u, Thank you bad4u.
Now it is the user-rating that is missing. How can that be (it is only the two last days, I have had that problem) The script I use is IMDb.

That was fixed with IMDb script version 3.56. Current version is 3.57, it fixes a bug with comments import. The solution to your problem is simply updating to latest script version again.

These issues always happen when IMDb does changes to their HTML code. The script needs to "understand" these changes and so it has to be updated then, too. Whenever a script breaks, first try to get an update from scripts server, though it might need some time until an update is available.

Note: For script related problems I recommend using the scripts section of the forum. There you will find a thread for IMDb specific problems here .
