Layout problem witinh "Default Movie Values" Dialo

Post by biker72 »

Hi Antoine,

I have thumbled around with my personal language file and rearranged my fields a bit.

When I now try to set the "default movie values" through Tools-Preferences the fields available are not all visible.
The last column with fields is out of boundaries. Only the lables are shown, i can't reach the textboxes because they are not visible. the scrollbar is at his end.

I will send you a screenshot later when i'm able to do so.

Hi,
Well if you modify things, that's not a bug :p
I do not know what you did, but if you move fields they may be too far for that window, since it is much smaller than the main one.

ok, if it's no bug, it must be by design

To clarify things a bit:

I rearranged the fields. The result is that the total width of the screen is smaller than the original setup. (except for the floating pic window)

The original "edit default values"-window compresses the field-width somewhat so that it fits the window. In my instance there appear some scrollbars. But at the end of the scrollbar it stops at the labels of the last column and the textboxes are not shown.

I send you some screenprints comparing the original with my new setup.

Thanks again.

I received your e-mail, but as I said if you modify things, that's not a bug.
Such changes are not something planned originally, you do them at your own risk.
And you do not need to go in that "default values" window often, so you can switch back to original layout for going there.

Why didn't I think of that earlier, just switch back to the original fill in the defaults and then switch back.

Sometimes the most obvious ....

Thanks!
