I had been using the previous version (beta) of this great program and the same problem was happening.
I backed up the date files, uninstalled the old and installed the newest, adding back my data.
Unfortunately the same problem persists...usually when printing. Another, maybe, helpful clue is that when I add a new series of movies the "accept duplicate" is grayed out.
Any help wold be most gratefully received!!
Thanks

AMC v 3.511 hangs repeatedly
Only known problem of hang of the program is on some systems having a nVidia-based video card, when the nView Desktop feature is enabled. So you may want to try to disable that feature (in the advanced display properties of Windows) if you do not use it.
"Accept duplicates" is grayed out when there is no other movie with that number.

I have a NVIDA based graphics Card......I had read about its problem elsewhere in the forum. As a result I have disabled the feature...to no avail!!

Is the fact that "accept duplicates is grayed out" an indication of anything ?

No, as I said it is grayed out when there is no other movie with same number. If you change number to an existing one, it will not be grayed out. I do not see why you focus on that option
It is very strange that disabling nView Desktop does not solve the problem, as until now I think that it solved it each time (or maybe some people did not comment when it was not solved with that)
