Export Image using Media Label ID

Post by ajwconsult »

Hello,

I have been using this program successfully now for a good while..

Now, I have obtained an excellent XML HTML code to use on the internet, of which I keep exporting my library to XML 3 times a week.

To save a lot of time I would like to export the image to my allocated library ID which I have put in "Media Label".

Due to having various ID's in my library (i prefer to keep in one database) I would like to export my picture's using the given name in "Media Label" field.

By default it uses the 3options of which I don't want to use as I always change the number by resorting and there would be duplicate titles but in different formats.

Example of my 3 id's are:
- DVD0001
- GRADE0001
- S0001-0006

I would prefer to use the above with .jpg on the end, remember I export the library to xml a minimum of 3 times a week to I would prefer a permanent code wrote in.

Hope there is a solution. AJW

Hi,
One thing to try is to change the style of formatted title to media label (in preferences => title format), then when you export pictures it should use that if you select "title" as name format.
The downside of this system is that you'll have to go change that option each time before/after export else you'll only see the labels in main window's title column.
