Hi,
1 can go in comments
is 2 useful to have its own field rather than being in comments? Or it could be put in video format or resolution if not used.
3 will be added in some future version, as it is often requested

if possible, then I'd suggest another new field:

Film Type/Edition/...

In my opinion, the appended 'Limited Edition' or 'Special Edition' or 'Directors Cut' or 'Box Set' (...) do not belong to the film title - it's an appendix to the movie version you have bought.

Currently, I have hundreds of films... and the display is a far too small :) I'd like to see the translated film title as well as the original title... and these (not really necessary ) information wastes the little space.

Thanx in advance

Now, I stumpled upon a couple of other fields, I'd like to have:

(+) Price (How much money I payed for the film)
(+) Package (What sort of package does the movie have: DigiPak, Amaray, Steelbook, ...)
(+) Barcode Code (Every DVD has a barcode and therefore you can read/wrtie/store it. It's a unique identifier)
(+) BorrowDate (When gave I the film away)
Region Code (Stupid thing...)
Author of Script
Music (Who composed the music for the movie)
Studio
Distribution

Like mentioned above:
(+) Parental Guide (For which audience is the film)
(+) Edition (Special Edition, Director's Cut, ...)

Like in another thread:
(+) LastSeen (When was the last time, I saw the movie)
(+) TimesSeen (How often did I see the movie)

Fields with a (+) I would really really appreciate... the other's are "nice to have"

I have to admit, I would like to see some of Crowley's suggestions implemented. I don't need all of those fields for my use, but they would be nice to have.

However, what I would really like to see is a field for "Series Name" and "Series Number".

I would use these for two things.

First, so I could, for example put in "James Bond 007" in "Series Name" for all my James Bond movies and "1" for Dr. No, and "2" for "From Russia With Love", etc. Then I would like to be able to group on "Series Name" and "Series Number". I realize I could use "Comment" for the Series Name, but nothing I could readily use for the Series Number. Also, there is no way that I've seen to group on two fields.

Second, so I could flag and group the television series episodes I have. I'd like to put the episode title in the Original Title field and use the Series Name as described above and Series Number for Season and Episode numbers (for example: Season 1 Episode 5 would be 1.5 in the series number field).

If there is already an easy way to do this, I missed it. Please let me know :)

Also, to the author(s), super program and a great service you are providing!!! Thank you SO much :grinking: :grinking: :grinking:

I just converted over from Movie Collector with great ease. :hihi:

Surprised there hasn't been an answer to this one so I'm gonna bump it.

I have a few series like, Merlin, The Persuaders, Legend of the Seeker, Vengeance Unlimited, etc. which I would like to catalog and have been unable to figure-out how to deal with it.

Perhaps should be in a different topic but I have been unable to get Serials info (English) from any of the scripts - any suggestions?

Thanks
