This program is already excellent, but could reach the perfection if just has an option to export as .exe (like a portable presentation) and/or export as .pdf.
But the .exe could be a must, so when you export it as executable, don´t need to go around installing the program here and there, the portable exe could have the basics of amc (no edit/add/save,etc functions) plus (and like another idea) an integrated smtp engine? so you can request movies to your friend, the owner of the catalog, by email just like when you add te borrows and that.

and to be just complete, the posibility of deply mini patches to update the catalogs

For a PDF export you can install any PDF creator that acts like a virtual printer, and then generate the file with the printing function of AMC.
For the other idea, it may be done if I add a options to lock in read-only mode. That may come in the future.
