Re: [REL] IMDB ( via API )
Munkey, would it be possible to incorporate one more feature in your wonderful script, please?: It would be great if the script could import "runtime/s" of the movies because that helps one correctly label theatrical releases, director's cuts, unrated cuts, etc.
Added this feature in v1.0.7 ...

Re: New Field for HDR Information
I didn't add anything: the custom fields are custom, as their name says. So if you see a HDR field, it was added by you :hihi:
The program is still the same from 2023, as I said I only updated the package to include new scripts.
Thanks for the clarification, Antoine. I must have added the "HDR ...

Re: New Field for HDR Information
HDR is on my to do list, so in the next update of the program itself I'll probably add the option to put it in a custom field automatically from the media info line you mentioned ;) (since adding that is easy)
Antoine, thank you very much for adding the HDR option in the custom fields inof the ...

Re: [REL] IMDB ( via API )
Both features are implemented now:
1.0.6 - (2025/07/02) - Fixed rare Cloudflare/API timeout bug by changing a credits endpoint to a faster one.
- Reworked all credits.
- Renamed CreditsLimit to ActorsLimit.
- Added support to pair the actors with the characters. [GetCharacters option ...

Re: [REL] IMDB ( via API )
I ran the script with a couple of titles--including 'Vikings' which wasn't working earlier--and it works perfectly: smooth, fast, accurate. Thank you for some splendid work.

Re: [REL] IMDB ( via API )
So, can anyone try these IDs like 3 times or more in row with BatchMode > 0 and enabled IMDB_userID (your personal ratings), report the outcome.
Temp ban indicator -> you get 504 "Timeout" error.
I am not registered on IMDB so I did not enable the user ID, but my batchmode is set to 0 and I ...

Re: [REL] IMDB ( via API )
Got one error today on importing from https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067778/. The third country, which should have been West Germany, was imported as 'XWG', and the script said, "Error: Unknown country code! Please report the error."

Re: [REL] IMDB ( Alt )
v1.0.4 should support all fields. Please report if something is not working.
Works like lightning! The script is fast as well as accurate. It imports both the producer as well as the composer fields as also all the others.
The only bit missing for me now is:
1. The script imports only four ...

Re: New Field for HDR Information
And adding fields has a lot of implications, so I won't add just one quickly like that.
Yes, Antoine, I understand that. But I would appreciate it if you would please keep the request in mind for the next major update, whenever you might do that, because HDR format has become a vital ...

Re: [REL] IMDB ( Alt )
Yes, please. A fully functional script should be able to import all the fields. Will give this one a run through once it covers all the fields.Munkey wrote: 2025-06-27 00:31:47 What is missing:
Support for Producer and Composer fields is missing, does anyone need them?

I also seem to get somewhat random country names in the first line of the 'Description' box: Argentina is the most frequent one, followed by Australia and, only once, Germany.

I don't know for your guys but for me the script is still creating problems. Both on new movies and also if I run it on existing ones.

A local backup is not really enough anyway. There can be so many things that happen to such file.
. . .
Or simply online backup solutions, now with the cloud there are more possibilities :)
And Antoine yet again cleanly sidesteps a request to consider a long-overdue update. :hihi:
But yes ...
